Beansmith was started in 2010 with aspirations to change how their community perceived quality coffee and to make it as approachable as possible. Through dedication to their craft and a love for education Beansmith has paved the way for specialty coffee in Nebraska and has been nominated as best local roaster for 2014 and 2015. Their recently opened café in the heart of downtown Omaha has been nominated for an architectural design award and has become an institution for creatives and connoisseurs alike.

The professionals at Beansmith Coffee Roasters begin by only selecting high quality green coffee from around the world based on seasonality and flavour. They meticulously taste, test, and roast the coffees to bring out and accentuate the inherent natural flavors of the raw beans. Quality and transparency are the main focuses and principles that they live and work by.

When roasting they pay close attention to maintaining the integrity of terroir and maximising the sweetness and vibrancy of each coffee. They employ rigorous methods to measure quality and consistency from sourcing and roasting all the way to the finished product.
