Scott Chen founded Mojocoffee in 2002, and operates three cafés and one roastery in Taichung City. Backer and C. Ning are the roasters in charge of roasting and all the quality control on roasted coffee.

A good cup of coffee demands a huge deal of care from seed to cup. Therefore, from 2013, Mojocoffee and Black Gold Coffee Importer started direct trade with Panama and Costa Rica, also working closely with coffee farmers so we can get the coffee we dream of as close as we can.

In 2015 Scott’s laboratory was established to do coffee experiments and staff training and is also open to our wholesales customers and baristas-to-be for continuous learning on coffee. Paying attention to all the details is the secret to why Mojo’s coffee always tastes as good as it smells.
